Ballet Level 1

Ages 4-5

 

Ballet Level 2A and 2B

Ages 6-8

 

Our youngest dancers are given a strong start to their classical ballet training in a warm, nurturing environment.

Level 1 dress code
Pink leotard (any style), no skirts or tutu dresses (we need to see the students posture). Pink tights;  pink , canvas, split-sole ballet slippers. The last week of every month any color leotard may be worn.

Level 2A and 2B dress code
Black leotard (any style), no skirts or tutu dresses (we need to see the students posture). Pink tights; pink, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers.  The last week of every month any color leotard may be worn.

 

Ballet Level 3 

Ages 8-10

 

Ballet Level 4

Ages 10-13

 

Ballet Level 5

Ages 13-15

 

We focus on improving the technique of our young dancers and developing a strong sense of self in the ballet studio. 

Level 3 dress code
Black leotard (any style), no skirts or tutu dresses (we need to see the students posture). Pink tights; pink, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers.  The last week of every month any color leotard may be worn.

Here we deepen the study of classical ballet developing strong core and technique for our dancers.

Level 4 dress code
Black leotard (any style), skirts may be worn for center. Pink tights; pink, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers; pointe shoes (with approval). The last week of every month any color leotard may be worn.

Level 5 dress code
Black leotard (any style), skirts may be worn for center. Pink tights; pink, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers; pointe shoes. The last week of every month any color leotard may be worn.

 

Ballet Level 6

Ages 15+

 

 

Pre-professional training at its best. For the serious students who is training for a professional career.

Advanced level dress code
Black leotard (any style), skirts may be worn for center. Pink tights; pink, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers; pointe shoes

 

Boys

Stretch

 

We welcome and encourage male dancers of any Level! Ballet is great for coordination, cross-training and flexibility

Male dress code
Plain, white t-shirt; black lycra tights; black, canvas, split-sole ballet slippers (can be split-sole or full).

Flexibility is essential for lengthening muscles, line and injury prevention

Stretch dress code
Warmups, shorts or sweats may be worn.


Character

 

Character dress code
Girls - Black skirt (hitting just below knee), black 1 1/2" heeled-shoes
Boys - Black character or jazz shoes

 

*FOR ALL DANCERS:  HAIR/JEWELRY
Females students must wear hair in a neat bun for all dance classes.
No jewelry or watches, except small earrings.
